Wednesday, July 15, 2009

New York¾ Federal Appraisal and Consulting LLC, a national business and real estate appraisal and advisory services firm specializing in power and utilities, announced today the promotion of four new Energy Valuation Coordinators.

·         Wendi Bohdan will serve as Wind Energy Valuation Coordinator

·         John Amaxopoulos will serve as Solar  Energy Valuation Coordinator

·        Chris Olmsted will serve as Energy Storage Technology Coordinator

·         Kent Amarante  will serve as Biofuels Valuation Coordinator

As Energy Valuation Coordinators, Federal Appraisal Consultants will serve as the company’s lead contact with energy development, financing and management community.  Now, the renewable energy community will have easy access to world class valuation expertise through a single source, anywhere in the country.  These newly created positions reflect Federal Appraisal’s ongoing commitment to leadership in the field of renewable energy valuation.

Managing Partner, Mark Pomykacz, stated: “The valuation of energy facilities is nothing new to us.  Since 2001 Federal Appraisal has appraised hundreds of power plants, including renewable energy and biofuel plants.  The creation of our New Energy Divisions improves our contact and communication with the green energy community.  There are very few valuation firms that have appraised power facilities, and there are even fewer firms appraising the developing technologies in the renewable energy space.  Federal Appraisal has such experience and expertise.  Our unique qualifications demonstrate that we have a significant presence in the market for conventional and renewable energy valuation and we are very proud to be among the leaders in this field.”
